MEET THE FOUNDER

Trusted Advisor - Global Influencer

Richard Attias is the founder and executive chairman of RA&A. He is a trusted advisor to heads of state, business executives and civic leaders looking to build influence and affect change.

STORY

Well-known and respected for his ability to assemble thought leaders from across sectors to address pressing issues, Richard has created and produced high-profile platforms including the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, the Clinton Global Initiative and the Nobel Laureates Conferences to name a few. Following the global financial crisis in 2008, he personally conceived and initiated the ‘New York Forum’ an annual call to action gathering global CEOs, political leaders, academics and economists to explore solutions for rebuilding public trust.

Richard began his career in sales at IBM and went on to found companies in the Information Technology and Global Communications fields. He spent a decade with media conglomerate Publicis Group, where he eventually served as Executive Chairman of Publicis Events Worldwide and designed more than 1,000 events for global corporations and governments.

Born in Morocco, Richard completed his studies in civil engineering and earned a master’s degrees in math and physics. A citizen of the world, he has lived in France, Switzerland, Japan, Dubai and the U.S.
