In March 2022, RA&A organized the inaugural Sync Digital Wellbeing summit, which was hosted by Ithra at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Marking the start of a global campaign to promote digital wellbeing, this two-day summit gathered prominent researchers, bestselling authors, decision makers, private sector leaders, and civil society from around the world to discuss digital wellbeing best practices and showcase the latest research. More than 9,000 registered delegates learned more about the science of digital wellbeing, ventured into rights and ethics of digitalization, and participated in discussions about the way forward in this digital age.
