RA&A proudly produced the opening and closing ceremonies of the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 in Abidjan, in collaboration with COCAN, the local organizing committee. The opening ceremony was a spectacular showcase of Ivorian culture, featuring 600 local performers and eight giant puppets. This awe-inspiring event was made possible by the dedication of hundreds of talented Ivorians, from costume makers to the students of the Technical College of Marcory, who crafted the stage with meticulous care. Together, we brought this extraordinary celebration to life.

Indeed, it was “MAGIC in the Air” as a children’s orchestra kicked off the closing ceremony with the AFCON anthem, which was followed by a vibrant and colorful show highlighting contemporary African art and music. RA&A was honored to work with the people of Ivory Coast to pay homage to the country’s rich cultural heritage and exciting artistic future in such a memorable way.
